About RMR Furniture
We are a family-owned online furniture retailer and were founded in 2001 by brothers Ron and Michael. Our goal was and still is to be the most unique and modern furniture retailer on the web.
We started out with just one product: the High Heeled Shoe Chair; we found this chair on a trip back in 2000 to a local store in Boston, hooked up with the manufacturer of the chair and asked them if they would be interested in making it for us. And so the story begins! We have since expanded to close to 500 products and are constantly adding new products each month. In 2003, Ron and Michael brought on their aunt, Ronda, as a partner in the business. Ronda has been instrumental in expanding our business, bringing with her 20+ years of experience in interior design and retail management.
We have since expanded to include several other people who have also been instrumental in growing our business. Ron has since taken a silent partner role in the business to focus on his two little boys and loving wife, leaving the business firmly in the hands of Mike, Ronda, and others.
In 2009, we plan on growing our line of products to 1,000 total products ranging from cool and funky lounge chairs to sleek bedding accessories.
